The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court recently heard arguments in Smith, et al. v. Winter Place, LLC, et al., a case involving the issue of whether employees who lodge internal work-related complaints are entitled to the same legal protection against retaliation as employees who file complaints with the Attorney General’s Office.
