Davis & Davis, P.C. is a boutique law firm founded by partners John W. Davis and Patricia M. Davis.  John Davis started the Employment Law group within the firm and Patricia Davis heads the Domestic Relations and Family Law group.  Since its creation, the firm has grown significantly to keep pace with the influx of clients in both practice areas.  While the firm continues to expand, the founding partners remain active in all of the firm's cases, ensuring the quality and efficiency that our clients expect and deserve.

John W. Davis

Attorney John W. Davis has dedicated his legal career to the practice of Massachusetts employment law.  He understands the tug-of-war that often takes place between modern companies and their employees.  Today's workforce is pressured to achieve more with fewer resources and under greater time constraints than ever before.  Management must answer to stockholders and balance tight budgets while remaining competitive to survive in today's turbulent economy.  Attorney Davis uses his knowledge of the modern employment relationship to resolve disputes quickly and efficiently, to provide clients with expert employment law advice, and to provide the legal documents and services necessary to establish and maintain beneficial employment relationships for employers and employees alike.

Prior to co-founding Davis & Davis, P.C., Attorney Davis held various legal positions within firms and agencies including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Fair Labor Division of the Attorney General’s Office, the Massachusetts Superior Court under Justice John C. Cratsley in Salem and Boston, and the Law offices of Robert E. Weiner, Holtz, Gilman & Greunebaum, and Pre-Trial Solutions, Inc.  Attorney Davis has also been a guest lecturer at the New England School of Law, and has been featured in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly publication and in numerous newspaper articles across the Commonwealth relative to his representation of companies and individuals.

Patricia M. Davis

Attorney Patricia M. Davis has been practicing family and domestic relations law in Massachusetts for over twelve years.  She has spent countless hours in the Massachusetts family courts representing clients from all over Massachusetts, and is well regarded and well received by court personnel and her peers.  Attorney Davis has witnessed significant evolution in the statutes and case law that govern family matters in the state and has developed a proficiency with the law that few attorneys possess.  She understands the difficult and emotional situations that today's families endure, and she acts as a skilled counselor and advocate for her clients both in the courts and in various alternative dispute resolution fora.  As the head of the family and domestic relations practice within Davis & Davis, P.C., Attorney Davis plays an active role in every case her team handles to ensure maximum efficiency and quality for her clients.

Prior to co-founding Davis & Davis, P.C., Attorney Davis held legal positions within firms and agencies including Kurland & Grossman, P.C., Atwood & Cherny, P.C., Frontiero & Graves, P.C., the Comptroller's Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Superior Court.  Attorney Davis is a member of various bar associations, including the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.  Attorney Davis has also been a guest lecturer at the New England School of Law.
