Less than halfway through the year, Managing partner John Davis is pleased to announce that on May 3, 2022, an award of attorney’s fees and expenses was issued after Attorney Davis was successful in obtaining Summary Judgment against a company/defendant in a Wage Act case in Haverhill District Court in Essex County. This is Attorney Davis’ second Wage Act win in 2022.
Judge Susan H. McNeil awarded Attorney Davis $450.00 per hour. Judge McNeil took notice of the fact that Judge Christopher Barry-Smith had just awarded Attorney Davis $450.00 per hour on February 1, 2022, in another Wage Act case in the Middlesex Superior Court.
